About

Kevin Fullam is first and foremost, a dilettante. However, he was also the host of the long-running Under Surveillance show on WLUW in Chicago, which examined the intersection of popular culture with political and societal attitudes, and plans to launch a similarly-themed podcast via CHIRP (Chicago Independent Radio Project) in 2010. In the meantime, he plans to increase his writing output to greater than one essay per year.

Previous careers include: mechanical engineering, high-brow sports analysis, and hobo-ing (minus the train rides and cans of beans). Upcoming careers will include the world of blackboard instruction, as he’ll be handling a class for Loyola’s Honors Program next fall on the depiction of American government in popular culture. He’s already looking forward to a never-ending stream of apples.

Split Reel is Kevin Fullam's new radio show, which debuts in early 2010. Split Reel focuses on the intersection of film, television, and societal attitudes.

Under Surveillance was Kevin's previous show, which ran from 2004-2009 on WLUW in Chicago.

Episodes of Split Reel and Under Surveillance are archived on the Radio page.
